There are many ways to volunteer to help Hounds of the Heartland! We need foster families for those greyhounds waiting for their forever homes, fundraisers to seek out new opportunities and write grants, and greyhound owners and supporters to talk to the public at our show & tell events. Transportation is also a big need! We are always looking for volunteers to drive foster greyhounds to and from events, and those willing to drive outside the OKC metro to pick up greyhounds at farms, kennels, and humane organizations across the state.
You may also sponsor a dog by contributing financially to its care or you can choose to help with operating expenses. Tax-deductible donations can be made in memory or in honor of the person or pet of your choice.
